Local Planning Scheme No.3, Amendment No. 3
The local government is proposing to amend its Local Planning Scheme text, as below, to allow Grouped Dwellings in the Rural zone subject to compliance with a new Local Planning Policy. In considering and progressing the amendment, the Shire is required to advertise and provide an opportunity for the community to comment.
Council in pursuance of Section 75 of the Planning and Development Act 2005 amend the above Local Planning Scheme by amending Table 1 – Zoning Table to modify the permissibility of a ‘Grouped dwelling’ in a ‘Rural’ zone from an ‘X’ use to a ‘D’ use.
Details of the proposal can be found below. Comments on the proposal may be submitted to the local government in writing on or before the 26th day of June 2024. Submissions can be sent via post to Shire of Koorda, PO Box 20, Koorda WA 6475, via email to shire@koorda.wa.gov.au or by using the below online submission form.
